A beautiful Wednesday evening the team turned up with their scariest ever game faces. It was the first game for some newbies and maybe the last for some oldies. For the first time ever we had more players than we needed so our team also involved warm up leaders and cheerleaders. During the game there were some excellent saves, some speedy passes and a few vicious tackles but the two Warwick goals put beams on all of our faces. At this point I may have neglected to add that Birmingham also scored two goals but these aren't as important. Our strong defence kept these minimal and our game ended in a draw. A first against Birmingham (as far as I am aware) which normally ends in a loss. After finishing in perfect time for the lights to go out as they do every training session we headed to our favourite drinking quarters, Varsity to celebrate our not loosing.
MoM - Kas - for some incredible saves (and quite a few of them)
DoD - Abi - for failing to actually play during the game (even though she was the best cheerleader ever seen!)
